ONLINE PAYMENT PAGE

While ballet is an expensive endeavor, needing space, heating and cooling, and small class size, LBS is far below the average cost for this instruction, while our teaching expertise is far above the norm. Please look for yourself in the following article. We have no hidden costs of production, costuming or ticketing, or competitions. We are what we are - a family of motivated dancers willing to give your dancer the best experience possible. Online cost article HERE.

REGISTRATION

REGISTRATION is online at Jotform, and if you are a previous student whose contact information remains the same, you can just send us an email as to your fall registration intentions. All payments can be made through Square. Please note: Especially if you have payments made in a family name different from your dancer, or if your credit card is in a different name - place a note the student on the payment page NOTES to ensure that the correct student is credited with the payment. If you would prefer to send a personal check please email (so we know to look out for this) and you may do so - Please address this to 226 N 6th Street, Suite 300 Lafayette, IN 47901 so it will go into a protected mail slot rather than being left next to foot traffic on Main Street.

ATTENDANCE AND MAKE-UPS

Students Enrolled for the Semester may make up missed classes at an equivalent or less advanced level at any time within the semester. Please let us know when you would like to attend a make-up. It is important to keep up the physical rhythm and training as well as the mental connection that comes with time in the studio. A lower level class will allow students the chance to demonstrate the proficiency gained as well as reinforce the structure of the technique at a slightly slower pace. This is an invaluable tool both in training and confidence building.

DRESS CODE

For all students, we will be re-instituting the dress code uniform. All young women are required to put their hair in a bun (or very short hair in a ponytail). This includes bobby pins or barrettes to keep loose strands out of the face. Please adhere to our very generous dress code policy. The correct leotard uniform is available at the ENCHANTED POINTE, 226 N 6th Street. This is a separate business from LBS so please address your appointment needs and inquiries there: (765) 404-8560‬.
Gentlemen: White fitted t shirt, black tights or shorts and black socks. Black Ballet shoes.

POLICIES

1. Our goal is to provide the best possible training in a positive atmosphere.
2. Students will NOT be permitted to enter class if they arrive anytime 10 minutes after the start time. The tardy arrival negates the progression of physical and mental concentration by others. It also misses the crucial focus and warm-up for that student. There are alternate days in which these classes can be made up.
3. Instructors reserve the right to dismiss any student from class due to unruly behavior, or refusal to work within the structure of the class.
4. Parental observation is available only by request, as with covid restrictions, only students will be allowed into the studio.
5. The lost and found shoe supply is for emergency use only, not to replace the proper equipment which should be purchased for each child.
6. There are no refunds on prepaid tuition. If you are unsure of our working methods we encourage you to observe a class before enrolling. If you are in some way unsatisfied with the student's progress later in the semester, it does NOT entitle you to a refund of tuition. Our instruction remains what it is, and the way each student reacts to this training is personal,
7. LBS is not a preschool. Classroom etiquette, the ability to wait for a turn, and the respect for others in the classroom is essential. Please work with your child in the awareness of these aspects of the dance training as well as the actual dance knowledge which is presented.
8. Please be sure that we have all correct contact information, and that you arrive promptly to pick up the student. If an unusual circumstance prevents this, please send a text messsage to 765-714-2489.
