LAFAYETTE BALLET BALLROOM

We need to start immediately on our second year presentation of the ICE QUEEN - A new holiday tradition that lives brilliantly in the ballroom of 226 N 6th Street. We have additional roles for some of our younger students, and plans to have this ballet of ecology and loyalty become a favorite with families. We will be starting work and rehearsals. Younger students from Ms. Linor's Intro to REAL ballet, through Beginner and Elementary are eligibe to sign the agreement form and come to our OUTSIDE of class rehearsals on the Saturdays listed below. Adults are also welcome, and we have some mime roles for adults in the first and last act, because we cannot present a village or a revived Ice Kingdom without some adults. So_ please consider the listing. It will not be every week for every role, but we try to run the rehearsals on 2 consecutive weekends for a scene to help memory, concentration, and consistency.

You are not responsible for costuming or performance fees, and the performances are free to your friends and family within the limits of our seating capacity. How many people have told me they miss THE NUTCRACKER. This is our new replacement which is less over-presented, more maleable to modern sensibilities, yet still has the magic of a fairytale and a winter theme.

Together we will invigorate our dancers for new challenges. Join us!
